Meet the Bug Rangers. Our unique and brilliant team of accredited ecologists, conservationists, zoologists and educators dedicated to to bringing your Bug Storeys experience to life in the most imaginative and inspirational ways. From the first moment you get in touch with us, a Bug Ranger is there to support every stage of the experience. They are there to help you find the perfect location for your Bug Storeys Habitat, there to build and populate it with you and to help you maintain it.
Our Bug Rangers work side-by-side with teachers and pupils to develop exciting, innovative resources and activities; run fun, interactive nature-based workshops and give inspiring, community talks. And when it comes to sharing their knowledge with both children and adults, you just can't seem to bug them enough about wildlife and the natural world.
The Bug Rangers’ enthusiasm, expert knowledge and passion for encouraging the love and protection of native British species is utterly infectious and 100% genuine. It's what makes Bug Storeys so different and so special.
Become a Bug Ranger
So, now that you’ve heard all about how brilliant our Bug Rangers are, would you like to join them? We are always on the look out for interested, energetic and charismatic communicators with a passion for nature, wildlife and enthusing others about it.
Ecology (or similar) qualifications and a hands-on, can-do approach to carpentry and practical tasks, along with experience in educating others are preferred. Having said that, however, nothing beats true dedication and the desire to make a real difference. So, if your knowledge and love of British bugs and wildlife is a hobby rather than a qualification, but you’re great with people and are willing to work hard to follow your dream and make a career in conservation, we’d be happy to talk to you, too.
